After constructing the field and the instances, we were asked to interact them in terms of relation between cores and spaces. I put my 2 instances 2 opposite sides of my core. Other 2 ones merged together and I located them the linear part of the field.
This time, we were asked to construct a relief by refering to our info mappıng study and especially by thinking the cores.
This semester, we went to campus of middle east technical university. We were asked to take advantage of spatial relations between spaces and buildings in order to achieve true relations in our projects.
As you know, I have chosen ‘OPEN-CLOSE’ as keywords. By the help of these keywords, I produced variations of my initial instance according to different levels of openness and closeness.
In this assignment, we were asked to interpret the instance, which was chosen from the text Invible Cities as I mentioned about before, and to explain our spatial experiences of instance by the help of intersecting planar elements. While doing this, our instructors said us to select one or two words as keywords in order to create spaces which have characteristics in terms of the keywords. I selected open-close and then constructed my initial intance. And this is my instance:
